Tractoring
A good fall day allowed us to get Don Jr.’s 1937 Farmall running. We recently replaced the rear tires and a rod bearing, so this was the tractors first time out in a few years. After cruising around for a little bit, cousin Brady takes over at the wheel, and then eventually hops on his grandfather’s (Don Jr.’s brother Bob Sr.) 1951 John Deere A to help tear up some grass… The footage was taken with a Kodak digital camera, so the zoom isn’t the best… we might try this again.. and …

not really… this is where my grandparents live… I did used to live out there… (66 acres) but we moved into town when I was 5… I still spend a lot of time out there… and we don’t farm anymore… for a while when my dad was younger they planted soybeans… you can see my dads video from when I was younger where we were plowing a small garden in the spring with the same tractor in this video…

Sure wish our tractor would start up that good. It’s moody, and only starts when IT feels like it. LOL
