the front wheels would fit in between rows of corn and if you working in a barn you could spin the front wheels side ways and use the brake to turn right around in small spots
i just fucken cracked the damn head on my w6 deisel fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 its so gay i was out plowing and it started overheating cooled it down than went out again than when i got back it was hot again and steam was coming out of the radator cap
The narrow front was nice for tighter turns and really nice for backing up hay racks and wagons. They are a pain in the ass in mud though because they just sink.
Why in those days americans tractors had the two front wheels so close? sry about the stupid question but its been a curiosity i have, and here in Brazil we dont see this kind of assembly.
Nice M sounds good, My grandfather did not run any mufflers on our tractors, and after a day in the field your ears really stung. Your plow stands out nice to. Phil

Kirkconway, MANY old tractors never left the dealer with a muffler, just a little pipe stub.

Will a straight pipe suck too much cold air and then suck a valve?

But a friend of mine said it wasnt good on the engine,
