we had a ‘62 growing up. This video has all the classic sounds…the 4th gear grind, whine of the rear end, shaky front end, an identical-sounding exhaust. I miss the ol 140…
Thank you so much for posting this video. It reminds me of the 140 my grandfather had back when I was a kid. It’s funny.. I haven’t seen that tractor in 25 years but I see myself driving it thru the fields and down the road from the house to the garden after watching your video.
Looks like the front end was a little shaky on your to. His way way shaky on the road in 4th.. topped out, which is the way I drove it back and forth from the house…
They put the engine and transmission to the left side of the axle. the drivers position is offset to the side so you can better see the crops youre cultivating with it, since theres no engine blocking the view.

Nice video. I have a ‘59 140. The steering is loose on mine and I’d be scared to drive it as fast as you drove yours. A great little tractor!

why is the seat off to the side? i don’t like that lol

that wouldnt really work, since 4th is the highest gear, the other 3 would be out of play.

can you start off in 4th then go from 1st and on
